Propertyfinder Trends, a leading property portal in the UAE, has rounded up the top 10 most searched-for communities, buildings, and search keywords on its site in major UAE markets.

The top-searched communities in Dubai are a mix of lux and price-conscious, with the three of the most expensive places to live - the Marina, the Palm, and Downtown - taking the top three spots, while the more mid-range areas like Sports City, JVC, and Silicon Oasis also made the list.

Dubai residents also prioritise their live-in staff, said Propertyfinder in its latest edition. Searches for “maid’ topped popular keywords, it added.

Residents of the Northern Emirates love their coastline, but hate spending money on air-conditioning, as evidenced by the preference for coastal communities and the most common search term: chiller free.

The results reveal an allegiance to Al Reem in Abu Dhabi, but also a mix of high and low — the most popular communities are some of the most expensive (Saadiyat Island and Al Bateen, for example) mixed with the more affordable, like Mohammed Bin Zayed City.

Abu Dhabi residents are also after outdoor, resort-style living, as revealed by their search preferences for balconies and pools. – TradeArabia News Service
