Nass wins Dubai Hills Estate contract

DUBAI, March 27, 2018

Bahrain-based Nass Contracting said it has won a $11-million contract from automation and technology major ABB to execute the civil works for a substation project at Dubai Hills Estate.

A leading mixed-use lifestyle development project, Dubai Hills Estate is a joint venture between Meraas Holding, a leading Dubai-based development company, and property developer Emaar Properties.

Located centrally on the junction of Umm Al Sequim Road and Al Khail Road, the project is envisaged as the premium lifestyle community.

Dubai Hills Estate boasts residential, commercial and leisure areas, plus an 18-hole championship golf course spread over a sprawling 11-million-sq-m area.

The contract has been awarded to Nass by Swiss group ABB, which is also responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of the substation.
