Saudi citizens get 15,666 homes under AP grant

Alwaleed Philanthropies (AP), chaired by Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, has announces the ninth instalment of the "Housing and Car Grants" programme that aims to provide 10,000 housing units and 10,000 cars to Saudi citizens across the kingdom over 10 years.
So far, Alwaleed Philanthropies has provided 22,666 beneficiaries with houses and cars as part of its "Housing and Car Grants" programme. The number of beneficiaries for housing units has soared to 15,666 and those for the car programne 7,000.
The names of all the ninth "Housing and Car Grants" programme beneficiaries were announced on Prince Alwaleed's Twitter account, said a statement from AP.
The foundation seeks to improve the living standards of Saudi citizens through various community development programmes, it stated.
The "Housing and Car Grants" program is one of the most important local programs, as it supports Saudi families with low incomes by helping them reduce their monthly expenses that go towards housing rents and transportation.
It is open to all citizens and has no age limit, and does not require any registration fees, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
