DUBAI, July 26, 2017
Bracewell, a leader in assisting clients with all types of infrastructure projects, has announced that Adrian Creed has joined the firm as a partner in its Dubai office.
Creed has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in the Mena region, most recently as a partner with Clyde & Co.
“Adrian’s expertise in power and Mena-focused infrastructure projects makes him a terrific fit for our Dubai office,” said Bracewell’s managing partner Gregory M Bopp. “We are pleased to welcome Adrian to the firm and to our internationally recognised energy and infrastructure practice.”
Creed’s addition is part of the firm’s global initiative to expand its international energy and infrastructure practice. In May, the Dubai office was named by The Middle East Legal Awards 2017 as the Infrastructure and Energy Projects Team of Year for its work on precedent-setting projects throughout the region.
“Adrian is a well-respected lawyer with over two decades of experience in the Mena region,” said Dubai office managing partner Chris Williams. “We are confident that his addition will further cement Bracewell’s role as a premier go-to law firm for clients in the projects and infrastructure sectors.”
Creed’s practice focuses on Mena energy, utilities and infrastructure projects and project financings. His clients include a mixture of developers and host governments and are located throughout the region, including the UAE, Oman and Libya. He has extensive experience working on Mena Public-Private Partnership (PPP) transactions, including advising on large scale project financings in the power, water and district cooling sectors.
“Bracewell offers an excellent platform in energy and infrastructure in the Mena region,” said Creed. “I am thrilled to be joining a firm that has been internationally recognised for its work in assisting clients develop the region’s most significant projects.” – TradeArabia News Service
