The thriving construction market in Dubai is set to drive huge demand for outdoor specific design-and- build projects, calling for more authentic public spaces, said indusry experts.

With new landscaping projects implementing change in the outdoor construction sector, open communication and education towards the building industry’s current position, products and services is paramount for investors looking to stay ahead, stated experts ahead of The Big 5 Outdoor Design & Build Show 2017.

A major event in the region, The Big 5 Outdoor Design & Build Show 2017, will run from September 25-27 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

During the three days of the show, products and services will be displayed in four main sectors; landscaping, outdoor design & build, water technology & management, and infrastructure & urban development, said the organisers.

The show aims to offer broad education agenda addressing industry signifiers towards GCC urban greening and landscaping opportunities, said the experts, citing the latest GCC Hotels & Leisure Market industry report by Ventures Onsite.

The report, which was prepared mainly for the Big 5 Outdoor Design & Build Show, pronounces an explicit change in lifestyle where people will prefer to spend more time outdoors.

During the three-day show, 13 CPD (Continued Professional Development)-certified complimentary workshops will be hosted by industry experts, who will share the latest knowledge in the evolving outdoor, landscaping and urban planning industry.

Looking into the master planning brief for Dubai Parks and Resorts, as well as the design and construction process there, Fourie will provide insight into the components of outdoor design and build within mega projects.
