ASTM International backs Project Qatar 2017

US-based ASTM International has announced that will be a supporting partner at the upcoming Project Qatar 2017, an international construction technology and building materials expo, to be held in Doha.   

Project Qatar, an annual exhibition celebrating its 14th year, will run from May 8 to 11 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.

It will provide local and international traders with insights into many new construction developments including new building materials; heating ventilation and cooling; heavy equipment; stone technology and interior design.
 
The four-day exhibition is expected to draw hundreds of manufacturers, suppliers, and industrial professionals from more than 40 countries to Qatar.
 
Nick Ecart,  ASTM's director of business development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, said the organisation was excited to be a supporting partner of Project Qatar again this year.

“We look forward to working with industry professionals interested in using high-quality standards and services,” he added.
 
ASTM International said it supports several events in the Gulf region each year, including Adipec, Aralab, Project Qatar, the Arabian Tunnelling Conference, the Annual Quality Assurance for Sustainable Construction Materials Conference and Workshop, and the Dubai Civil Defence Annual Fire Safety Technology Forum.-TradeArabia News Service
