Empower to showcase key solutions at WFES

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) will be showcasing its key solutions at the upcoming World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The summit will be held as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2017, under the theme of 'Practical Steps Towards a Sustainable Future' from January 16 to 19 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The summit offers a global platform for pioneers in the sustainability and energy sectors at the regional and global level. It will showcase latest studies and techniques related to the development of efficient use of clean and renewable energy.
One of the world's largest district cooling service providers, Empower will display the model of its plant in Business Bay, and also highlight its role in providing environment-friendly cooling services of the highest international standards.
This plant saves electricity consumption and helps reduce environmental pollution and conserve water, it stated.
Empower chief executive Ahmad Bin Shafar pointed out that the goals of the summit were in sync with its strategy which is guided by the vision of the leaders.
"The core of the UAE 2021 vision places sustainable development and efficient use of energy as a top priority. Our participation in this summit is an extension of our interest to attend different international or local forums to update ourselves in new developments in energy and sustainability. We are keen to see the newest projects in this field and exchange expertise," stated Bin Shafar.
The summit will review the latest projects in energy and renewable energy, future infrastructure projects, government strategies and international innovations, especially those related to nuclear energy and solar power.

Empower’s participation in the summit is consistent with its central objective of spreading awareness and stimulating debate on finding effective solutions for sustainability challenges, including energy efficiency and water conservation, said Bin Shafar.
According to him, the event will highlight the importance of the efficient use of energy in the present and future facilities, in addition to innovations and smart infrastructure.
