Dubai to build residential complex for government staff

Dubai government has announced plans to build a new residential complex for employees of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services in Warsan-3 area of the emirate at an investment of Dh128 million ($35 million), said a report.
The initiative is part of a joint co-operation between Dubai Municipality and the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, reported state news agency Wam.
The announcement comes following the approval from Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance for the project, it stated.
The residential complex will boast of five apartment buildings with ground plus three floors besides two swimming pools, two playgrounds, green patches and a children's play area.
Of the five buildings, two units with a total of 48 apartments are for families, while the other three with a total of 284 residential units are for bachelors, the report added.
