SYDNEY, August 28, 2016

The CEO and managing director of  Habtoor Leighton Group (HLG), José Antonio López-Monís, who was detained by Dubai police on August 17, has been released from custody, a Cimic statement said.

HLG is Australia-based Cimic's Dubai-based joint venture.

López-Monís was released without bail or any other conditions, the statement said.

López-Monís has not been charged with any offence and HLG’s operations continue as normal, it added.
