22 roads in Giza governorate to be improved.

Funds allocated to improve Giza roads

CAIRO, August 8, 2016

Egypt has allocated E£60 million ($6.74 million) to increase the efficiency of 22 roads in nine cities in Giza governorate, an senior official said.

The money will be used for paving, strengthening, and re-paving important roads in the regions of Monshaet El Qanater, Awsim, Kerdasa Abu Nomros, Badrashin, Ayat, Atfeeh, and El Bahariya oases, said Giza governor Mohamed Kamal El-Daly in a Daily News Egypt report.

An addition to these projects, Minya governor Tarek Nasr said that the governorate will implement a number of road pavement projects in cities during FY 2016/2017, and will also implement paving projects in cooperation with the Social Fund for Development (SFD).

The total investment cost for road paving projects in Minya governorate will amount to E£17.70 million.
