Damac launches Aykon luxury residential tower

DUBAI, June 7, 2016

Dubai-based Damac Properties has launched the 60-storey residential tower within the Aykon City project overlooking the Dubai Canal.

The tower will house the luxury apartment units and be part of the Aykon City development to be centrally located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai’s Golden Quadrant.

In this phase, two-bedroom units will be released with prices starting at Dh1.69 million ($460,000). The units will go on sale Saturday, June 11 in Dubai at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. In addition, sales of units will take place in Abu Dhabi at Jumeirah Etihad Towers.

Ziad El Chaar, managing director, Damac Properties, said: “The upcoming launch of residential units within this iconic development is a much-anticipated event with our investors and the community having expressed interest to purchase units when the project was first launched. This city is strategically located in what will be one of the most prime locations in Dubai, with its central location and connectivity to all parts of the emirate that is served through the extensive transportation network, including accessibility by car, metro or water taxi.”

“Aykon City will be a distinctive luxury development with unique features that will attract residents and tourists alike. Taking centrestage at the development will be the first-of-its-kind Aykon Dare, that will become the next exciting attraction for thrill-seekers in Dubai, with breathtaking views from 935 feet (285 metres) above Sheikh Zayed Road, Safa Park and the Dubai Canal. In addition to this attraction, Aykon Plaza will be an elevated platform that will link the development and provide the community with beautiful areas to relax and unwind in and includes restaurants and cafes,” continued El Chaar.

Aykon Dare, on the 80th floor of the hotel, will provide guests a rare opportunity to walk around the outside of the tower’s roof for a real adventure and with panoramic views of the city, stretching as far as the Dubai / Abu Dhabi border, including the Burj area and Business Bay. When standing on the glass-floored viewing capsule, one can view directly below the Dubai Canal and the vehicular backbone of the emirate, Sheikh Zayed Road.

For aficionados of shopping, food, entertainment and fitness, Aykon Plaza will feature a “beach club” setting with swimming pools and lush green areas to relax in. It will also be complemented by numerous chic cafés, elegant dining and luxury shopping. Health and wellness options will be abundant with Yoga and Tai-chi areas, private members’ club as well as a spa.

The project sales value is Dh7.4 billion with a completion date of 2021. – TradeArabia News Service
