The work on the integrated tech and science park in Borg Elarab, an industrial city in Alexandria, Egypt, is progressing well with the infrastructure and the built up area due for completion by the year end, said a report.
The park will come up over a 37,800 sq m area at an investment of $161 million, reported Amwal Al Ghad, citing a top official.
The project, which boasts a built-up area of 126,000 sq m based on a land usufruct model, is about 38 per cent complete, remarked Ahmed El Desouky, the chairman of Borg Elarab City Authority.
In addition, the project includes facilities for citizen services, banks, shops, training, innovation and entrepreneurship, outsourcing, companies, infrastructure, district administration, fences and gates, a mosque and product distribution outlets (supermarkets), he added.
