Danube Home eyes franchisees for MEA markets
DUBAI, April 2, 2016
Danube Home, one-stop retail destination for complete home solutions including both soft and hard furnishing, is offering business people and entrepreneurs franchise opportunities in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
A unit of the Danube group, the company boasts a complete range of living, bath, lighting, kitchen, garden and outdoors solutions.
Danube Home serves multicultural middle- to high-end income customers. Its boutique stores range between 2,500 sq ft and 3,500 sq ft in size, while a typical Danube Home Mega store is between 25,000 sq ft and 40,000 sq ft, said a statement from the company.
Each store receives an average of 50 to 80 customers per day, it added.
As per the deal, Danube Home will provide every franchisor an opportunity to establish and expand the business through full-service franchise development, consulting, marketing, operations and implementation, said a senior official.
"We are excited to introduce franchise opportunity in the MEA region, " remarked Adel Sajan, the director of Danube Group.
"The idea came to life with our growing popularity across markets; however, we would be cautious in our approach as we believe that every franchisee needs to adhere to some basic management skills - hard work with a desire to succeed, good people skills which includes business, management and customer service skills and high personal standards such as excellence, honesty and integrity."
According to him, Danube Home is a one-stop solution for home improvement products- specifically anything and everything a home needs.
Danube Home management will provide ongoing training and support in many areas critical to the success of the franchisee’s business, including unit operations and maintenance, customer-service techniques, product ordering, suggested pricing guidelines, and administrative procedures.
"Ours is an unmatchable concept in terms of legacy, operational capability, brand equity and. to top it all, brand recognition," remarked Sayed Habib, the deputy general manager for buying and business development at Danube Home.
"We are looking for investors who believe in our concept and in turn their potential gives us confidence to set up these market-specific Danube Home stores," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
