City Center Doha ... a major retail destination in Qatar.

City Center Doha set for major revamp

DOHA, December 3, 2015

Qatar-based Aamal Company, a widely diversified company with operations across 24 business units, has announced the start of the second phase of City Center Doha redevelopment project.

The QR300 million ($82.3 million) revamp is aimed at enhancing the current leasable area in certain sections of the mall, thereby boosting the overall operational efficiency once completed, stated the mall developer in its statement.

Aamal, a key player in retail, residential and commercial property management and development sector in Qatar, said the redevelopment is in line with the mall management’s commitment to  maintain the retail destination’s leading market position.

However, the mall's redevelopment work will not have any effect on the operations of the existing tenants or the mall visitors, it added.

With the additional area City Centre will be able to accommodate the most recent shopping and restaurant concepts available, to offer customers an exceptional time and shopping experience at the retail destination.

The second phase of the mall's redevelopment will be carried out over three stages, and is due for completion by the end of 2018.-TradeArabia News Service
