Bahrain earmarks $20m for rain drainage networks

Bahrain plans to invest millions of dinars in rainwater drainage networks following chronic flooding last week, if the money is available. The Cabinet yesterday (November 30) earmarked BD8.27 million ($20.9 million) to tackle rain drainage problems in 55 locations across the country, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
