Bahrain’s Sanad housing completes 98pc of units

Ninety-eight per cent of the housing units of the Sanad project in Bahrain have been completed in the last five years, a top government official said.
Work is currently under way to link the site with the main public roads network by early 2016, Housing Ministry's assistant undersecretary for housing projects Sami Abdullah Bu Hazza was quoted as saying by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The project comes in compliance with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad regarding the allocation and distribution of 40,000 housing units to eligible citizens including planned, completed or under-construction projects in the next few years.
Bu Hazza' said 221 housing units in the Sanad project out of total 265 type-T3M units - which is 98 per cent of the total available units - have already been completed. Meanwhile, the remaining 44 units are in the advanced stages of construction. Work is under way to finish the infrastructure utilities which will serve these units.- TradeArabia News Service
