UAE-based developer Al Barari has announced the launch of Ashjar 2, a collection of 84 exclusive residences that offer the best of community and family living combined with world-class facilities in Downtown Dubai.

Ashjar (trees in Arabic) comprises four low-rise, low-density buildings spread over a 775,000-sq-ft area, and is available in two distinctive categories, Introvert and Extrovert, allowing buyers to choose a home that suits their personality and taste.

Ashjar 2, an extension of Ashjar, which was launched last year, will feature one- to three-bedroom apartments ranging from 1,376 sq ft to 4,076 sq ft, with options for penthouse, said the award-winning luxury developer in a statement.

It is the latest development from Al Barari, following the positive response and successful launch of the The Nest in April 2015, it added.

Commenting on the launch, CEO Mohammed Zaal said: "This is the result of detailed planning and research to target a wider audience. Homes at Ashjar 2 range from one to three bedrooms with prices starting at Dh2.2 million ($598,840).

Extrovert is set over six levels and features a stepped layered design that ensures abundant natural light with views of the tree-lined oasis. With great attention to aesthetic integrity, the elegant all-white design creates a sense of space and an ultra-modern feel.

Introvert is six floors and features a more intimate design to offer the utmost privacy to residents. The terraces feature movable screens that can be arranged to create secluded personal retreats, complemented by picturesque views of the verdant landscape and beyond.

It incorporates a greater degree of modern Arabesque design, however, the screen design is in keeping with the natural landscape.
