'3G' exhibitions set to open in Bahrain
MANAMA, May 11, 2015
A dazzling trio of trade shows featuring close to 130 exhibitors from across the building and construction, interiors and real estate sectors will open tomorrow in Bahrain.
The showcase – comprising the flagship gulfBID and gulfInteriors exhibitions along with the Gulf Property Show – will be staged simultaneously at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) until Thursday.
The exhibitions will be inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain.
Traditionally held under the Premier’s patronage, the three shows attracted over 7,000 unique registered visitors in 2014.
The ‘3Gs’, as the shows are collectively known, are considered valuable launch pads into the multi-billion-dollar construction, interiors and real estate markets of the northern Gulf.
“The 2015 edition will reflect the mood of the market, seamlessly offering unrivalled networking and deal making potential through the entire construction-interiors-real estate supply chain,” said Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE), the Bahrain-based organisers. “It is simply a ‘one-stop-shop’ concept,” he added.
Being held for the ninth consecutive year, gulfBID 2015 remains the marquee exhibition for the Northern Gulf’s booming construction and building sectors and, as in previous years, it will again host some of the biggest names in the business.
These include Bonar Natpet, a Saudi-European joint venture producing geosynthetics, as well as a host of other companies from Saudi Arabia, including Al Koblan Thermopipe, Al Rezayat Protective Coating, Al Dweik Factory, Plastbau Arabia, Concrete Technology, Riyadh Crane Technology and Shade Technology.
gulfBID 2015 enjoys strategic sponsorship from Haji Hassan Group, which will showcase products and services from its portfolio of joint venture partners and divisions, including Bahrain Precast Concrete, Bahrain Blocks, Haji Hassan Ready-mix, Arabian Chemical Industries (Isola), Haji Hassan Reinforcement, Arabian Parts Company and Bahrain Pipes.
Meanwhile, KMC Holding, the owner and manager of turnkey solution companies across the Middle East, will also be a strategic sponsor of gulfBID.
gulfInteriors will feature both home-grown and international brands covering furniture, paints, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, ceramics, wall coverings and art and accessories.
From high-end artisan furniture manufactured in Bahrain by Classy Interiors, to household storage systems from Saudi Arabia’s Creative Closets, gulfInteriors will continue to be defined by its creative energy in a boutique setting.
The Gulf Property Show is now in its third successive year and will feature developers not only from the GCC but as far afield as Turkey, the UAE, Bulgaria, Malaysia, and the UK, with additional real estate opportunities being exhibited from Cyprus, Bosnia, the US and Spain.
Among its exhibitors, Bin Faqeeh Real Estate Investment Company will feature ongoing and future real estate projects targeting individual and corporate investors. The company behind the prestigious La Vida Tower and The One residential developments in Bahrain is currently working to deliver its Dar Al Salam Port project, comprising six luxury residential buildings each with 56 apartments overlooking the sea on Reef Island, in the second quarter of 2016.
Pegasus Realty, meanwhile, will demonstrate how it is raising the bar for residential real estate projects in Bahrain as it showcases Juffair Heights – recently voted the ‘Best high-rise residential development’ at the Arabian Property Awards – as well as upcoming projects in Zinj and other parts of Bahrain.
The Gulf Property Show enjoys the strategic sponsorship of Diyar Al Muharraq, a major mixed-use project in Bahrain, and Inovest Group, a leading Bahrain-based sharia-compliant investment company. - TradeArabia News Service
