Corodex wins Dubai Municipality award
DUBAI, March 30, 2015
UAE-based Corodex Trading, a supplier of wastewater treatment and pumping station equipment, has won the 'Distinguished Supplier of 2015' award from the Dubai Municipality.
The award was presented to Mahmoud Awad, the managing director of Concorde-Corodex Group by Dubai Municipality director general Hussain Nasser Lootah at the municipality’s Creative Suppliers event held at the Radisson Blue Dubai Creek Hotel.
The company was up against almost 25 other suppliers for the accolade, which honours the municipality’s best suppliers, acknowledging their hard work and continuous support to achieve the civic body’s strategic vision.
Each supplier is measured against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with the award going to the company that performs the best on the aggregate of KPIs, said the UAE company in a statement.
Commenting on the win, Awad said: "We’re extremely proud to be receiving this prestigious award from Dubai Municipality. It is a recognition of how far CorodexTrading has come since its establishment in 1974."
It is a major supplier to other UAE government entities including Sharjah Municipality, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), Federal Electricity and Water Authority, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (Adwea) and Ministry of Public Works.
Corodex Trading, he stated, performed consistently across all criteria, and won the award due to its high quality products, on-time service, superior after-sales service, and overall ability to fulfil Dubai Municipality’s requirements.
It supplies wastewater treatment and pumping station equipment to the Dubai Municipality, including odour control systems, self-cleaning filters, sluice gate valves, sludge dewatering units and pumps.
"The team works extremely hard to continually provide excellent products and services to our clients, and this award is a testament to that," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
