SPF Realty launches region’s first AR property app

SPF Realty, a leading real estate broker in the UAE’s freehold property sector, has launched Millennium Square mobile app, the region’s first-of-its-kind augmented reality (AR) application for a luxury residential project.

Millennium Square-Meydan Dubai is the latest freehold luxury villa project to be developed by G&Co within the prestigious Meydan Development, said the company in a statement.

According to experts, AR is the current big thing in social media experience, as the technology integrates digital information with virtual content on top to provide the users an amazing experience.

The interactive app will enable customers to experience a complete 3D walkthrough of the project on their smart devices, the company stated.

The app is currently available on Android devices and will be available soon on iOS smart devices as well, it added.

The mobile app, with three-dimension augmented features and virtual reality mode on it, would be an exclusive platform to provide potential buyers an innovative experience, as they can literally walk through the villa exploring each room and space inside the villa.

The app features a series of dynamic 3D renderings and the complete details of Millennium Square-Meydan Dubai, the latest freehold luxury villa project to be developed by G&Co within the prestigious Meydan Development.

Commenting on the launch, Anirudh V Naduvath, marcom head at SPF Realty, said: "We are proud to launch the region’s first 3D augmented Mobile App for Millennium Square Meydan Dubai. AR on mobile phones or smart devices, said the official, begins a new era of connectivity between the physical world and digital devices. "This opens up a hidden world of additional content in the things the customers see around them," he stated.

On the new app, Naduvaath said: “We developed it to enhance the value for customers as a meaningful connection with them using the advanced mobile technology. The app gives us a competitive edge, differentiating us from many of our competitors."

He pointed out that Mobile Apps for realty sector projects were gaining momentum in the global market as it enhanced the luxury property experience of the customers.

“On Millennium Square App, the customers can simply open the application, point their device to on top of the AR trigger image, or can switch to the virtual view mode by clicking on the virtual reality button to have an amazing augmented reality experience," he explained.

"The users can also download image markers and location map from a link provided on it. The villas can be explored through a unique virtual reality interaction that features 360 Views with Pinch, Drag and Touch inputs; 360 Degree Tours with Touch and Gyro inputs; and the real-time walkthrough with Virtual Joysticks, noted Naduvath.
