Msheireb Properties, a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation, recently welcomed Nicholas Hopton, the British Ambassador to Qatar at the QR20 billion ($5.5 billion) Msheireb Downtown Doha project.

Abdulla Hassan Al Mehshadi, CEO of Msheireb Properties and a group of senior management representatives updated the Ambassador on the construction progress of Msheireb Downtown Doha development, which is billed to revive the old commercial heart of the city using a new architectural language.

Ambassador Hopton thanked and complimented the management of Msheireb Properties on its vision to create a built environment that reflects the culture and the architectural heritage of Qatar.

The project, with its strong focus on sustainability, will be the world’s first sustainable regeneration project of a major downtown area. – TradeArabia News Service
