BAM wins Abu Dhabi marine infrastructure deal

BUNNIK (Netherlands), November 22, 2014

BAM International, the operating company of leading European construction-services firm Royal BAM Group, said it has won a marine infrastructure project from Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (Adco).
 
The €70 million ($87.3 million) project involves the construction of the marine infrastructure works for the third phase of the Al Dabbiya oil field development.

BAM expects to complete the project in September next year.

The scope of work for five offshore clusters comprises channel dredging, reclamation works, construction of a causeway, shore protection, heliport, pontoons and fences, said the company in a statement.

The construction also involves an additional offshore cluster including boat quay, pontoon and heliport, it added.

The Abu Dhabi project is to be executed by BAM International with support from BAM Contractors of Ireland.-TradeArabia News Service
