Orascom Construction Industries is studying the possibility of launching an initial public offering (IPO) during the first half of 2015, said a report.

The Egyptian group has not yet decided the country in which it will issue its stocks in, reported the Daily News Egypt citing a senior company official.

The IPO will likely be in a country located in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, he added.

Orascom Construction Industries is considering several options for Egypt but "we haven’t decided on the method yet," said the official.

EFG Hermes and CI Capital will be the investment banks handling the IPO, the report added.
