Damac, one of Dubai’s leading luxury developers, said it has brought forward the second release of units at its latest master development, Akoya Oxygen, following ‘unprecedented’ customer demand.
Akoya Oxygen is a 55 million sq ft community in Dubailand offering the most lush, green environment ever developed in the region. It includes numerous luxury living experiences set around a 18-hole golf course, with over 4,000 trees, organic gardens and private parks, said the developer in a statement.
The project also includes a five-star international hotel, a luxury desert-style wellness centre featuring holistic therapies, yoga, herbal treatments, and relaxation zones, the statement added.
The fully-integrated resort will also include globally-recognised retail brands, leisure and entertainment offerings, and organic market places all set within beautifully manicured & peaceful landscaping.
Damac said the sales at the initial launch was a big success with the units getting sold out in just one night. The second release of units will be made available at private events across the UAE on September 3 with four-bedroom villas starting at Dh2.25 million ($612,400).
The locations include Damac Maison - Dubai Mall Street, The Oberoi and the JW Marriott Marquis in the Burj Area of Dubai in addition to the Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah, and the Rotana Al Ghurair Rayhaan in Deira.
Ziad El Chaar, the managing director, pointed out that the response to the Akoya Oxygen launch had been beyond expectations.
"The combination of a perfect location, trusted developer and a luxury lifestyle living all set within the greenest, verdant and leafy environment in the Middle East has proved to be a huge draw to our international clientele looking to escape the city," he noted.
“We had originally planned to bring the second release of units at Akoya Oxygen out just prior to Cityscape Global next month, but the strength of the demand from customers has encouraged us to bring this forward,” he added.
