Knight Frank makes key UAE appointment
Dubai, July 2, 2014
Knight Frank, one of the world's largest global property consultancies, said it has roped in Alex James, a leading capital markets real estate expert, to boost its UAE operations.
James has joined Knight Frank's Capital Markets division in the Dubai office, to work alongside Joseph Morris to advise investors on real estate transactions internationally.
He will provide origination, execution, asset management and disposition services across all sectors.
"As corporate real estate requirements continue to advance in our globalized economy, Knight Frank is committed to expanding its industry-leading global capabilities," remarked James Lewis, the head of UAE office.
"One of the ways we achieve that goal is by bringing in top talent, and Alex James is an excellent case in point, bringing a profound depth of experience in areas that are in high client demand," he stated.
James, who joins Knight Frank from DTZ where he was a surveyor, specialises in conducting cash flow, investment and return analysis.
He has overseen both the acquisition and disposal of a number of assets and portfolios across a wide range of property sectors.
On his new role, James said: "I am looking forward to working with investors on real estate transactions internationally drawing on my experience from the UK and Europe."
"We have recently seen a large weight of capital pursuing real estate exposure in the global investment market as property yields continue to offer a significant margin over bond yields in most markets. Knight Frank is the largest privately owned real estate advisor in the world and is in a great position to advise investors in a recovering global market," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
