Gulf Property Show to expand next year
Manama, May 9, 2014
The Gulf Property Show, a boutique showcase in Bahrain for the real estate and property development sectors, has outperformed all expectations and will be expanded next year to meet surging demand, said event organisers.
gulfBID, gulfInteriors and Gulf Property Show, the ultimate platform for product launches and deals in the construction, contracting and building materials sectors, concluded on a high note yesterday (May 8) with exhibitors and visitors hailing the events.
"Bookings have already begun for the 2015 editions, with the Gulf Property Show destined for further expansion," Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director at event organiser Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE) was quoted as saying in the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
"We expect more than 50 per cent of all our exhibitors to book early for next year's shows," he said,.
"Brisk levels of business have been reported and the shows have once again proven why they are the leading events of their kind for the Northern Gulf.
"The shows have attracted more than 4,000 visitors over the first two days and we expect the total number of visitors over the three days to cross 7,000," he said.
The three events this year have seen key deals struck, a raft of new products unveiled and big ticket purchases made.
Bahraini exhibitor Sab Technology won more than 10 orders over two days for its CCTV and time attendance machines worth several thousands of dollars, according to Sab Group sales manager Rajesh Babu.
Debutant Insulated Building Systems Factory, which makes autoclaved concrete blocks, said it received a good response.
Back for the second time, Al Reda Trading and Aluminium said this year's edition was better than previous ones.
Paul George Babu of Vineyard said the exhibition helped the firm find buyers for coconut-shell based products.
Modern Glass Technology introduced exclusive mirror cladding, mirrors with lights and furniture with beveled mirror cladding.
"The show is a good launch pad for our products as we are in the process of expansion," said sales and marketing manager Ahtisam Salar.
"We will be back next year," said Y K Almoayyed and Sons electronics and home appliances manager Carlos Alfonso Vaquer.
Next year's gulfBID, gulfInteriors and Gulf Property Show will be held from May 12 to 14 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. – TradeArabia News Service
