The UAE-based Destination Hospitality Management has inked a partnership deal that will bring Cipriani, a global hospitality brand, to the Yas Yacht Club, part of the multibillion dollar Yas Island and Abu Dhabi’s first official yacht club.

Cipriani, the four generation family has properties, including restaurants, event spaces, luxury residential and hotels in New York, Los Angeles, London, Venice, Hong Kong, Istanbul and Porto Cervo Sardinia.

The company said it had selected The Destination for its Middle East operations after being approached by numerous groups. A joint venture between Ali Jassim and Mohamed Bin Jabr Al Suwaidi, The Destinantion owns a portfolio of projects such as the Yas Yacht Club.
 
Cipriani will open their signature Italian restaurant, a Wine and Bellini Room, “Yotto” their first and only Japanese restaurant, a cigar lounge, “Allure” a nightclub, a private member’s yacht club and catering facilities, said a top official.

The catering facility will be equipped to host royal events, weddings, concerts, public and private occasions. The Yas Yacht Club, whose interior is designed by celebrated Italian architect Michele Bonan, is set to open this month.

Mohamed Bin Jabr Al Suwaidi, co-founder and co-chairman of The Destination, said: 'I am very excited to bring such a world renowned brand to Abu Dhabi, and especially to have been a pioneer investor in the Yas Island project.'

Ali Jassim, co-founder and co-chairman of The Destination, said the company was delighted to bring a name synonymous with one of the world’s greatest in luxury hospitality, quality and service.
