DPG unveils new development in Dubailand

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, has unveiled a portfolio of ready-to-lease villas and apartments at Layan located in the heart of Dubailand, the landmark tourism, leisure and entertainment destination.
Spread over three million sq ft, residential units at this Mediterranean themed desert oasis features unique architectural elements, terracotta roofs and warm colours which delivers the mystique of desert living with all the modern conveniences of city life, said a statement.
Layan features a diverse selection of affordable residential units including 414 villas starting from Dh100,000 ($27,224) for two bedrooms. 144 apartments are also available starting from Dh65,000 for two bedrooms. Promotional rates are available for a limited time period.
The development includes 1,400 sq ft two bedroom and 1,800 sq ft three bedroom apartments, as well as 1,900 sq ft two bedroom, 3,800 sq ft three bedroom and 4,000 sq ft four bedroom villas.
“As part of our commitment to delivering enhanced community living, we have designed this development as a family focused desert enclave,” said Khalid Al Malik, Group CEO of Dubai Properties Group.
Layan is located in close proximity to the entertainment center of new Dubai and within minutes of the retail and restaurant offerings at MotorCity, Sports City and Arabian Ranches. Situated close to both Emirates Road and Dubai Bypass, Layan is also an ideal location for residents making the daily commute to other Emirates.
The development will feature children’s playgrounds, a community centre, well-manicured landscapes, and round-the-clock security, with convenience stores and restaurants expected to open shortly.
Salwan, Property Management, a subsidiary of Dubai Properties Group, will lease and manage the development.
