UAE will increase the base salary for workers in the field of construction by 150 percent from Dh1,000 ($272) to Dh1,500 ($408.50) per month.

The information was released by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation, the biggest construction group in Dubai, UAE, with the aim of recruiting Vietnamese workers through the Air Service Supply Joint Stock Company (Airserco), which operates in the areas of tourism, trading and human resources.

China State plans to recruit 3,000 workers for four construction projects which have recently won contracts. With the support of Airserco, the corporation will come to Vietnam every month to conduct skills tests and recruit 400 workers.

After three years of working in UAE, each Vietnamese worker is expected to have a total income of VND306 ($17,200) to VND324 million ($18,210). – TradeArabia News Service
