Durrat Al Bahrain to hand over villa keys

Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s biggest mixed-used residential island city will begin handing over its luxury villas to the new homeowners on Monday.

In a special event to mark the historic occasion, the first Durrat Al Bahrain homeowners will take delivery of their keys from senior management of Durrat Al Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House.

A truly unique island-based city, construction of Durrat Al Bahrain  began in 2004, with the formation of the first of the development’s 15 islands.

Homeowners will be moving into luxury villas with views across the azure waters of the southern Bahraini sea and the white sands of Durrat Al Bahrain’s private beaches, said a top official.

Jassim Al Jowder, CEO, Durrat Al Bahrain, said, “Monday will be a very special day for all of us at Durrat Al Bahrain. It will mark the first major milestone of the project, with families beginning to move into their new, luxury homes, bringing life to Durrat Al Bahrain.'
