Snasco unveils $599m project in Algeria

Sharjah, August 17, 2008

Snasco, a leading developer, has joined hands with Algeria’s Family Housing Development Establishment to build a waterfront project in the Algerian city of Oran, said a report.

It is part of the ambitious development plans for Oran and has the full backing of the government. Spread across 150,000 sq m, the $599 million development is located close to the famous Conference Palace project.

Billed as a luxurious waterfront development, it’s being developed by a well-known international company, the Gulf News report said quoting Snasco.

"Snasco is among the first GCC developers to approach Algeria and other North Africa countries through its regional headquarter, which was opened a few months ago. Strategically situated in Haydara zone - the heart of the Algerian capital, the office will oversee all of our future projects in Algeria and NA region,’ said Saleh Sorayai, chairman Snasco.
