DREI to unveil new plan

The Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) is to unveil new industry specific programmes for its 2008, starting January, at Najah Abu Dhabi 2007.

DREI, the region’s first academic institute for real estate studies, will also roll out special value packages to applicants registering at the event.

Najah Abu Dhabi 2007, the UAE’s most comprehensive education, training and careers event, will be held from November 4 to 6, at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre.

Marking its debut participation, DREI will feature its spectrum of academic offerings at Stand 5-D 21.

DREI staff will be on hand to provide additional information and counselling on DREI’s course content.

New programmes offered in the special value package will include Managing Real Estate Development Projects, Value Engineering, Effective Real Estate Marketing, Financing Infrastructure, Negotiation Skills and a Masters degree in Sustainable Real Estate Development.

The concessional privilege will also extend to segments on DREI’s Successful Real Estate Development, provided in partnership with the National University of Singapore (NUS), and its graduate diploma programme, offered in partnership with Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology. 

Dr Mohamad Al Shehhi, managing director of DREI said:

As a guest speaker at the event, Dr Mohamad Al Shehhi will provide industry insights on the characteristics of the labour market and skill demands in the new economy, tools for matching personal profile with academic major requirements, and labour market opportunities to develop and leverage transferable skills across jobs and industries.

Najah Abu Dhabi caters to the needs of students, educators, parents, career professionals, training organisers and educational institutions.

Activities at the show will include job profiling, careers advice, over 100 'topic specific' seminars and the region’s largest high level strategic educational conference. It will also showcase several leading UAE companies aiming to recruit industry specific professionals.
