Abu Dhabi, June 19, 2007

Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi’s fully integrated property development company, has appointed John Bullough as the new Chief Operating Officer.

Bullough is currently retail director of Grosvenor, one of the United Kingdom’s largest property companies, heading Britain and Ireland operations.

Aldar CEO Ronald Barrott said Bullough's appointment was a key step in the strategic development of Aldar as a publicly listed company in the UAE.

'His expertise in developing prestigious real estate properties and driving a proactive and ambitious team will provide our management team with an invaluable resource in taking the next steps to deliver world-class projects to our shareholders and customers in the Middle East and further a field,” he added.

The COO will focus on aligning the strategic objectives of Aldar's rapidly developing portfolio with the internal operations of the company to deliver efficient returns for investors and home owners.

This will ensure seamless communication amongst the management team and drive capacity for further expansion.
