Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Chamber has registered up to Dh6 billion ($1.63 billion) worth of exports by the Chamber members over the last nine months, a media report said.

A total of 1,199 establishments have been registered by RAK Chamber over the period, and 12931 have had their licenses renewed, reported Emirates news agency Wam.

A total of 20,364 certificates of origin have been issued by the chamber during the period, Iman Al Hayas, assistant director-general for Trade Services and Business Development Sector was quoted as saying in the report.

The estimated value of new investment capital during the first nine months of the year amounted to around Dh1.57 billion, she added.
