DED Cafe, a Dubai initiative for customer happiness
DUBAI, August 2, 2017
Dubai Economy in partnership with the High Level for Government Transaction Centre will launch a ‘DED Cafe’ for an enhanced customer experience.
The move is in line with the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to transform service outlets across all government departments in Dubai into customer happiness centres.
The ‘DED Café’ will offer business owners with a convenient and flexible option to complete registration and licensing transactions, including a drive-through service.
The initiative is focused on enhancing customer happiness through improved speed and quality of services and reduced waiting time. Customers can drive into the café and choose the type of service sought upon which an employee will explain the requirements and procedures and assist with completing the transaction.
DED Café will draw on the efforts of employees who play a key role in providing customer-friendly services and achieving the government’s strategic objective to spread a culture of happiness and positivity in Dubai.
The DED Café is also an important initiative aligned to the government’s directive to promote Dubai as an ideal destination for investment and business development as well as to facilitate procedures for businessmen and investors so that they can achieve their goals within record time. It also builds on the growing public-private partnerships in the pursuit of excellence and service quality in Dubai.
Najla Ibrahim Al Shamsi, general manager of the High Level for Government Transaction Centre, said: "We aim provide high quality services and procedures with the support of competent human cadre to exceed customer expectations and delight them. We thank Dubai Economy and its leadership for their confidence in us and their co-operation, which in fact inspires us to further demonstrate our capabilities and self-esteem.” – TradeArabia News Service
