Ratings agency AM Best International has affirmed the financial strength rating A- and the issuer credit rating of “a-” of Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC), with stable outlook for both ratings. In a statement, AM Best said the rating reflects BKIC’s “strong risk-adjusted capitalisation, conservative investment strategy, excellent track record of technical profits in all classes of insurance, and strong presence in Bahrain market,” said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
