UK envoy vows new era of trade links with Bahrain

A renewed focus on bilateral trade will be at top of the list of priorities for Britain’s new ‘commercial ambassador’ to Bahrain. British Ambassador Simon Martin, who replaced former envoy to the country Iain Lindsay this summer, told the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication, that he was looking forward to building on his background in economics during his time here.
