Warba Bank appoints new area manager

KUWAIT, October 2, 2015

Warba Bank has promoted its Salmiya Branch Manager Abdullah Nasser AlShail to the position of area manager, as part of its ongoing keenness to execute the bank’s plan aiming at developing skilled Kuwaiti calibre across all sectors.
 
AlShail will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the bank’s branches and following their development and performance for achieving their goals, said a statement.
 
In addition, he will participate in implementing the bank’s branches geographical expansion plan. 
 
He will play a vital role along with branch managers to enhance means of providing innovative new products and services that fulfill financial and banking needs of Warba Bank’s customers at the highest professional standards.
 
As part of the branches’ strategic expansion plan, that necessitates the appointment of an area manager for overseeing the performance of Warba branches, a decision has been taken to select one of the branches managers due to their solid banking experience. 
 
For this purpose, an internal committee composed of retail banking, human resources and business and strategic planning sectors has been specifically formed. 
 
As per established practices, the committee interviewed the nominated branches managers for the position to account for the business plan of each candidate through a presentation including the candidate’s future objectives, previous supervisory experience and overall knowledge of the retail sector in particular and the banking sector in general. 
 
The candidates have also undergone character analysis and mental and practical abilities tests known as “Thomas Analysis” to be able to understand their technical and practical abilities to bear the responsibilities of this position and the potentials of each candidate for development. - TradeArabia News Service
