SNIC’s gross written premium rises 38pc to $40m

MANAMA, August 11, 2015

Saudi National Insurance Company (SNIC) has reported a 38 per cent increase in gross written premium at BD15.42 million ($40.88 million) for the first six months of the year, compared with BD11.2 million for the same period last year. In line with growth in gross written premium, net premium earned saw an increase of 61 per cent to BD2.33 million for the first six months, compared with BD1.44 million for the same period last year, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
