Bahrain-based life insurer LIC International has felicitated its top-performing consultants in a ceremony held at the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain.

Eight consultants of the company from across the region, including two from Bahrain, have qualified for membership of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) 2016, as a result of commission earned through sales of insurance policies, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

MDRT is an independent association of more than 42,000 life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 470 companies in 71 countries.

LIC of India and LIC international chairman S K Roy, LIC of India managing director and LIC International vice-chairman V K Sharma, LIC International chief executive and managing director Rajesh Kandwal and general manager Partha Samal attended the event which saw Mr Roy awarding the top-performers.
