Service...designed to give same look and feel of a real paper statement

Credimax unveils new e-statement service

MANAMA, October 1, 2014

Credit card issuer and acquirer CrediMax has launched its new e-statement service for customers in Bahrain.

The e-statement service, available to both individuals and corporate customers for free, ensures optimum security measures are in place through a password-protected file that is sent to customers via a secure e-mail, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The service has been designed electronically to give CrediMax customers the same look and feel of a real paper statement.

"The new service is based on convenience and trust. The e-service is secure, fast and will help customers monitor their financial affairs more easily," said CrediMax head of customer services and sales Ali Al Abbasi.

"Customers can receive their monthly credit card statements on their e-mail addresses with the option of viewing, saving and printing them."

"We also want to drive 'green solutions' across all our operations and the e-statement is in line with our overall strategy.

"It will also reduce the impact on the environment; each time a customer decides to view or download a statement instead of printing it, paper will be saved," he added.

"The launch of this service also adds immensely to the customers' convenience of staying updated in regards to their account information and transactions, anytime and anywhere.

"They will be able to closely monitor their financial transactions in a convenient, easy and secure environment," he said. - TradeArabia News Service
