EFG Hermes, a leading investment bank in the Mena region, has appointed Karim Awad as its group co-CEO with immediate effect.
 
Awad was previously the CEO of the Investment Bank at EFG Hermes and was earlier head of Investment Banking, having joined the division in 1998, said the bank in a statement.

The firm is now led by both Yasser El-Mallawany and Awad as co-chief executive officers of EFG Hermes Holding, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
