NBAD sponsors economic forum

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), a leading bank in the UAE, is sponsoring a forum focusing on credit, corporate strategies, banking, economic growth and outlook in Abu Dhabi.
The fourth Abu Dhabi Economic Forum opened today (February 22) and will end tomorrow at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.
Organised by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal and the Department of Economic Development, the forum will feature an array of scholars, experts, industry executives and professionals.
Abhijit Choudhury, the group chief risk officer at NBAD, will participate in a panel that will discuss how banking and the financial services industry are handling the crisis and new regulations, while Dr Gıyas Gökkent, group chief economist at NBAD will participate in a panel that will discuss regional investment outlook.
“Since its inception in 1968, NBAD has played a significant and leading role in the economic development of the UAE” said Michael Tomalin, the group chief executive of NBAD.
