RABAT (Morocco)
Morocco gears up for Africa Architecture Forum 2026

Leading government authorities, architects, developers, urban planners, consultants, project owners and industry innovators will be in Rabat, Morocco, for the Africa Architecture Forum 2026 where they will exchange ideas, explore new solutions and discuss the opportunities transforming African cities.

The Africa Architecture Forum 2026 is a cross-continental platform bringing together the people shaping the future of architecture, urban development and the built environment across Africa.

To be held from December 8 to 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat, Morocco, the key event is aimed at connecting Africa's architecture community.

It comes at a time when the continent is experiencing rapid urbanisation, major infrastructure investment and growing demand for sustainable development, said the event organisers.

The two-day event will focus on how architecture can respond to the continent’s diverse climates, cultures and development priorities.

Key discussions at the event will include climate responsive architecture; sustainable urban development; cultural identity and heritage; resilient design; local materials; innovative building systems; smart technologies and future city development.

The Forum will see leading architects and developers showcase real projects, practical case studies and innovative solutions from across the continent, while encouraging stronger collaboration between governments, developers, architects and solution providers.

Hosted in Morocco, a strategic gateway connecting Africa with global markets, the Africa Architecture Forum aims to turn industry dialogue into meaningful partnerships, practical solutions and new opportunities that contribute to a more sustainable, resilient and distinctly African built future, they added.-TradeArabia News Service
