Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an Indian engineering and construction conglomerate, showcased its latest advancements in renewable energy, power transmission and digital grid solutions to industry professionals from more than 60 countries at the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex) 2026 expo held in Dubai.
As one of the world’s leading renewable energy engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors, L&T delivers integrated renewable energy solutions spanning solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage systems (BESS) and wind power, supported by advanced grid integration capabilities.
Its regional portfolio includes more than 38 GWp of solar projects, including 740 MWp of floating solar power plants, 22 GWh of battery energy storage systems and 3.5 GW of wind power projects, reinforcing the company’s role in advancing the Middle East’s clean energy transition.
At the three-day event which concluded on October 22, L&T played a key role as Titanium sponsor.
The company is supporting the region’s energy transition through a portfolio of 17 renewable energy projects across the GCC. These include the region’s largest round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy project in Abu Dhabi, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai and several large-scale solar parks in Saudi Arabia.
With a track record spanning more than 380 substations and over 6,800 circuit-kilometres of transmission lines, L&T continues to strengthen the region’s power infrastructure.
Its projects connect new and existing power zones through high-voltage substations and transmission networks, said the statement.
Within L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution business, the Digital Energy Solutions (DES) division provides integrated digital platforms that help utilities, developers and governments build smarter, cleaner and more reliable energy systems.
A major highlight of L&T’s pavilion was the interactive exhibits, including a Building Information Modelling (BIM) Arena that demonstrated the company’s 3D modelling and project management capabilities to the visitors, alongside digital tools for sustainable infrastructure planning and execution.
A global player, L&T is a $32 billion Indian multinational engaged in EPC projects, hi-tech manufacturing, products and services, operating across diverse sectors and geographies.
A strong focus on artificial intelligence and technology, a customer-centric approach and an unwavering commitment to quality have enabled L&T to establish and sustain leadership across its major business segments over eight decades, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
