SARCO unit wins Bin Ladin housing project work

Saudi Arabian Refineries Company (SARCO) has announced that it has awarded a key project to Lawazim Industrial Company, a key unit of one of its subsidiaries, to carry out subcontracting works for the National Guard Housing Project in Al Qassim region.

Under the SAR7.18 million ($1.9 million) deal, Lawazim will be responsible for the supply and installation of wooden doors for the project being developed by Saudi Binladin Group.

Lawazim Industrial Company, which is majority owned by Masafi Ventures, a key SARCO subsidiary, is a leading Saudi industrial and manufacturing firm based in Riyadh. It specialises in industrial equipment supplies, factory and production line support and contracting work.

Also this week, SARCO awarded a SAR33.5 million contract to Raya Al Tajdeed, a company owned by one of its subsidiaries, for the Burjeel One Day Surgical Centre Project in Riyadh.

As per the deal, the scope of work for Raya Al Tajdeed includes execution of civil, architectural, and electromechanical works on a turnkey basis.-TradeArabia News Service
