Wego has partnered with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) to promote the UAE capital as a leading cultural and leisure destination for travellers across the MENA region.

The collaboration will use targeted digital campaigns and data-driven storytelling to encourage regional travellers to discover Abu Dhabi’s heritage, nature, hospitality and entertainment offerings, while connecting them directly with bookable flights and accommodation.

The campaign will highlight attractions including Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Island and Yas Island, alongside the UNESCO-listed oases of Al Ain and the landscapes of the Rub’ al Khali.

Wego and DCT Abu Dhabi aim to combine destination expertise with travel technology to increase Abu Dhabi’s visibility among high-intent regional travellers and drive measurable tourism growth.

The partnership comes as Abu Dhabi continues to attract visitors with its air connectivity, hospitality infrastructure and growing cultural and entertainment offering.

Mamoun Hmidan, Chief Business Officer at Wego, said: “Abu Dhabi continues to set the benchmark for regional tourism, seamlessly uniting rich heritage with transformative, future-ready experiences. Through our partnership with DCT Abu Dhabi, we are leveraging Wego’s market intelligence and reach across MENA to inspire travellers and convert that inspiration into seamless bookings. We are proud to support Abu Dhabi’s tourism vision by connecting millions of travellers to experiences that are both authentic and extraordinary.”

Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, added:
“Our collaboration with Wego enables us to amplify Abu Dhabi’s diverse offering to a highly engaged regional audience. As demand grows for meaningful, culturally immersive experiences closer to home, Abu Dhabi is always ready to welcome travellers with exceptional infrastructure, rich heritage, and a year-round calendar of world-class events.” -TradeArabia News Service
