Undersecretaries of commerce ministries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have held their 64th preparatory meeting for the Trade Cooperation Committee.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor for International Agreements and Organisations Farid bin Saeed Al-Asali, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation among GCC countries. Discussions covered several items on the agenda, most notably following up on developments in the implementation of unified commercial laws and regulations among GCC countries, addressing challenges facing intra-GCC trade, and reviewing the work of committees affiliated with the Trade Cooperation Committee.

The meeting was held in preparation for the 71st meeting of the GCC ministers of commerce and industry, scheduled to take place on October 7, 2026, in Manama, Bahrain.—TradeArabia News Service
