SEREDO 2026 attracts 35,000 visitors, key deals signed

SEREDO 2026, the fifth edition of the Saudi real estate development and ownership exhibition, drew around 35,000 visitors over three days this week.

Held at the Jeddah Superdome from September 6 to 8, under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the exhibition brought together more than 50 government and private-sector entities, real estate developers and industry specialists, as well as investors and prospective homeowners.

The event witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding between participating organisations and companies, strengthening cooperation and partnerships and opening new opportunities for investment in the real estate sector.

Participating developers presented a range of residential projects and investment opportunities, including housing developments across the Makkah region.

SEREDO 2026 provided a platform for investors, developers and industry experts to discuss developments in Saudi Arabia’s real estate market and the sector’s contribution to economic growth.

Discussions covered the transformation of the Kingdom’s real estate market, technological developments, smart cities and sustainable development, as well as emerging opportunities across the sector.

Key outcomes of the exhibition included stronger public-private partnerships, the presentation of new investment opportunities, and housing and financing solutions for visitors. The event also helped raise awareness of real estate regulations and strengthen direct engagement between developers, investors and beneficiaries.

The participation of government entities gave visitors direct access to information about services, programs and solutions related to homeownership, financing and real estate regulation. It also highlighted the complementary roles of the public and private sectors in expanding options for beneficiaries and investors and improving the efficiency of the real estate ecosystem.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s participation reflected its ongoing efforts to strengthen integration across the municipal and housing sectors, expand partnerships with the private sector and broaden housing, financing and investment options in support of vibrant and integrated communities.

The conclusion of SEREDO 2026 comes as Saudi Arabia’s real estate sector continues to expand, supported by major development projects, growing housing supply and evolving financing and regulatory solutions.

The sector’s continued development supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by expanding investment and homeownership opportunities, improving quality of life and contributing to the development of more vibrant and sustainable communities. -TradeArabia News Service
