Bahri unit seals strategic logistics collaboration with Red Sea Global

Bahri Logistics, a unit of Saudi national shipping company Bahri, has signed a MoU with Red Sea Global, the developer behind regenerative tourism destinations - The Red Sea and Amaala - to expand the existing partnership between the two organisations and also explore new opportunities for strategic logistics collaboration.

Red Sea Global is an existing client of Bahri Logistics, and the MoU reflects the evolution of this long-standing successful relationship into a broader framework for long-term cooperation.

Under the MoU, the duo will explore opportunities to expand their existing partnership, develop integrated logistics solutions, and support Red Sea Global’s evolving operational and project requirements, as well as its Vision 2030 aspirations.

The collaboration reflects Bahri Logistics’ commitment to cultivating long-term customer relationships by building on established partnerships and combining its logistics capabilities, operational expertise, and strategic infrastructure to create sustainable value for its customers.

Mohammed Alsinan, Vice President of Bahri Logistics, said: "Our relationship with Red Sea Global reflects the value of working very closely with our clients to understand their evolving requirements and support their long-term ambitions."

"We pride ourselves in being a strategic partner across our clients’ logistics operations, and this MoU provides a framework through which we can build on our successful existing relationship, explore new logistics opportunities, and develop integrated solutions that create long-term value for both of our organizations," he stated.

The MoU was signed during the official launch of the Bahri Logistics Bonded Zone at Jeddah Islamic Port, a strategic logistics hub designed to provide customers with integrated bonded storage, customs facilitation, and value-added logistics services.

The newly-launched Bahri Logistics Bonded Zone will play an important role in enabling Bahri Logistics to support increasingly complex customer supply chains.

By improving the movement, storage, and processing of goods, the Bonded Zone will help customers increase supply chain efficiency, enhance operational flexibility, and access the Kingdom’s domestic and regional markets through one of Saudi Arabia’s most important maritime gateways.

Raed Albasseet, Group Chief Environment and Sustainability Officer at Red Sea Global, said: "As we continue to develop and operate regenerative tourism destinations, efficient and resilient logistics are essential to delivering exceptional experiences at scale. We look forward to exploring integrated solutions with Bahri Logistics that create lasting value for both organizations."

According to Bahri, the MoU also supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy by contributing to the development of advanced logistics infrastructure, facilitating trade and strengthening the efficiency and resilience of supply chains across the kingdom.

Through partnerships such as this, Bahri Logistics continues to expand its integrated logistics capabilities, deepen its relationships with existing clients, and support Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a leading global logistics hub, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
